Kyle Summers was born in Los Angeles, California where he grew up. He studied drama for three years at UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television and subsequently worked for five years as an actor, touring with numerous theatre productions and several television featured roles in such high profile show such as Knot’s Landing(1993), Melrose Place (1995) and Baywatch(1997).
His affiliation with the theatre led to his involvement with the art of magic and before long he found himself being commissioned by numerous corporate clients to perform for them at parties and events, not only in the United States, but also around Europe.
Clients have included some of the most distinguished members of high society such as Lord Bamford and Lord McKay and Kyle has entertained a host of celebrities including international movie director Michael Winner.
Now based in England, Kyle has extended his knowledge and skill to the cutting edge of close- up magic, using the most sophisticated techniques known to exist within the art, ranging from the most varied examples of the vanish, production, penetration, teleportation, transformation and levitation to examples of impromptu clairvoyancy and psychic effects.
His dynamic approach as a Magician and Californian sparkle, combined with some of the most advanced magic to date ensures the success of any party or Corporate event.
As a table magician, Kyle also performs at wedding's and civil partnerships throughout the UK and has achieved great success performing for private parties, trade shows, and hospitality events.
Whether you are in the North of England, the West of England, The East of England, The Midlands, The South of England or Wales, Kyle will travel to bring amazement and levity to your special event. Examples of his frequent performance areas are Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Cambridge, Peterborough and Canterbury.
The one common misconception which Kyle tries at any time to dispel from the mind is that of the phrase – magic “trick.” The word “trick” implies that the magician is attempting to fool or “pull one over” on the audience. This is simply not the case. Magic is about entertainment and nothing else. For this reason, he chooses to use the term “effect” because that is exactly what magic is.
Should people feel fooled when they discover that the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park were actually illusions created through computer generated imagery? Of course not! They were a spectacle, designed and created for the purpose of entertainment. Such is the case with magic.
Many people ask – no – beg – for Kyle to reveal his secrets. This he will never do. People who want to see magic want to be mystified. To reveal the secret would be tantamount to stealing from them.
Without the mystery – there is no magic! .......oh, and – the hand CANNOT move faster than the eye!
